Here, wordplay and the general association of specific phrases in the electronics industry served as a jumping-off point for my creative approach. By comparing and contrasting the use of the words “transformers,” “switches and relays” and “memory” I made the reader stop to think about those unusual associations. Graphically, these ads provided a vastly different take for the category space, providing stopping power on the page.
